PureGolf2010 Launch & Charity Event
Jamie Patton and Michael Goldstein would love for you to join them in officially launching their golfing odyssey – puregolf2010 – at Terrace Downs Resort on Monday 25 January 2010.
puregolf2010 is a unique tale about adventure and the Kiwi ethos. In 2010 Jamie and Michael will play a round of golf every day of the year, around the world, to raise money for The First Tee New Zealand (www.thefirstteenz.org). Their journey begins on 1 January at Kauri Cliffs and will end on 31 December 2010 at Cape Kidnappers. In between, they will travel across New Zealand, Australia, the US, the UK, northern Europe and parts of Asia.
The First Tee New Zealand is the New Zealand chapter of a worldwide charitable organisation. Their mission is to impact the lives of young New Zealanders by providing learning facilities and educational programmes that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. They are based in South Auckland, but looking to expand into the other main New Zealand centres. Jamie and Michael hope the money raised helps The First Tee do just that.
The pair’s adventures will be documented on their website – www.puregolf2010.com, via various social media platforms and in the pages of golf publications worldwide (including, in New Zealand, The Cut).
Jamie and Michael hope you will join them at Terrace Downs to officially launch the project, and raise some money for a great cause.
