Breath-taking balloon journeys now departing from Terrace Downs!

Have you ever been up in a Hot Air Balloon? Well, here's your chance! In an effort to offer the very best in High Country activities and provide an opportunity for guests to truly take in the grandeur of the surrounding area, Terrace Downs are introducing hot air ballooning from the Resort every Saturday.
The inaugural flight from Terrace Downs will depart on Saturday 19th September and with only 12 spaces available for this flight, bookings are essential. Complimentary bubbles are on Terrace Downs!
Canterbury offers the perfect landscape for hot air ballooning with its patchwork plains, stunning sea views and rugged mountain ridges through to lakes, braided rivers and more - all in close proximity and making for a
visual symphony of colours and awe inspiring beauty.
Described by visitors as "a once in a life time experience", hot air ballooning makes a great gift or celebration for a special occasion. The flight takes you on an emotional journey from hair-raising exhilaration to a superb sensation of success and achievement.
Thanks to Balloon Adventures and Up Up and Away, Canterbury's leading hot air ballooning company, this exciting new service will allow Resort guests to take to the skies and enjoy the vista from an all new level!
Passengers to report to reception at 2pm for a 3pm departure
Guests will be notified before 12pm if the trip is cancelled
