Terrace Downs Wins Best Hotel Accommodation in Ashburton District Tourism Awards
Ashburton District Tourism recognises the need to encourage the development of quality tourism product throughout the district and the Ashburton District Tourism Awards are an opportunity to celebrate businesses who are providing a high quality visitor experience.
On the evening of June 5th 2009, Terrace Downs Resort took out the award for the most outstanding entrant in the category of Hotel Accommodation.
The Ashburton District Tourism Awards are based on stage one of the New Zealand Tourism Industry Awards. Questions focussed on key challenges that the business have overcome to be successful, characteristics that make the business different, key business results and achievements, key markets, and how they promote the Ashburton District within their marketing activity.
